"We was in the area to watch the masters and needed some lunch before the evening match. We originally booked elsewhere however they had to close due to an emergency. We went for a drive and came across the Winchmore just hoping to grab anything available. Straight away we were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. We obviously hadn't hooked but a table was found for us in an already busy restaurant. Once seated we were served promptly and both had a roast. 1 lamb 1 sirloin. Wow it was the best roast we had ever eaten we was completely blown away it was perfect. Will most definitely return! Thank you to all the staff and chefs"

"We booked the private function room on the top floor and also a room downstairs for a board meeting. Brian and Carla are both really helpful, they went the extra mile for us we were so grateful for their help organising and running the special event on the night. Really enjoyed the food, the rooms worked out brilliantly, lots of comments from people about what a great space it is ... and Carla and Kai and team were so helpful in the set up and in welcoming guests and keeping them topped up with food and drinks. Brilliant job."
