"Outstanding service, friendly, helpful and welcoming in just the right way. Happy to explain the Georgian dishes if you want, but delighted if you already know your stuff. Wine very reasonably priced - and of course those delightfully distinct Georgian grape varieties- fruity and plummy and raisiny and delicious. The food was exactly what you hope for from Georgian dishes - subtle, flavourful, tangy, sweet, warm, rich, fragrant and funky. And always a hint of something you can’t quite put your finger on - but you want more of it! Outstanding choices for vegetarians, of course - aubergine, sheep’s cheese, cheesy breads in all varieties. The qatmis kuchmachi - unfortunately described as chicken giblets - but mainly comprising chicken liver - is amazing. There is also a downstairs section offering a more homely vibe to the upstairs dining room. I hear from the (delightful) owner that candles and pictures are on the way to homely up the place. These will only add to the atmosphere. We will be back. Edit: I did come back! And it was just as good the second time :-)"
"I have somewhat high standards for Georgian food. IBERIA never disappoints. If you wanna taste and an idea of what Georgian food is like - IBERIA is must go! cuisine is all about rich flavors and spices and they do deliver great flavors in dishes they serve. Best Georgian restaurant!!"
"I wanted to aquatint my English husband with proper Georgian cuisine , and we made a great choice! It was so delicious and actually the real taste of Georgian food! Highly recommend everyone to visit!"
"Wonderful venue. Only just opened two weeks ago so a few teething problems with the online and phone booking but I managed to get a reservation. The staff are very professional. My dad used to say, "you can always tell how good a restaurant if they never allow your glass to become empty" and this was definitely the case at Iberia. The staff were super attentive. I've never eaten Georgian food before so I was happy to be surprised and comforted by my cabbage rolled meat whilst my fellow diners thoroughly enjoyed their lamb stew. We watched as other diners who were more experienced with Georgian food selected delicacies for the table and shared. We will know for next time. Lovely decor and being right by Pimlico station is a bonus."
"1st time trying Georgian food; restaurant was fantastic. We booked the Islington branch by mistake & as this one hadn’t even officially opened, the owner graciously allowed us to still eat at the restaurant. Service was impeccable, food was first class. Ordered most of the Georgian classics; dumplings (Pork/Beef & Mushroom) - delicious, a kind of pizza bread (were equally delicious) & the walnut chicken/aubergine. When you’re offered the cheesecake at the end, say yes - it’s amazing & not too sweet. 5 Star venue all the way, will be returning & recommending."
