"Possibly the singular best experience I’ve had at a Turkish restaurant, very diverse menu of rare Turkish dishes made from very fresh ingredients The place is clean, spacious and the staff is inexpressibly sweet and friendly. Despite the amount we ordered the food came out fairly quickly as well. I can also happily state that the food was every bit as tasty as it looks. Definitely recommend to others, owner was an absolute gent as well."

"Went here before going to Fairfield Hall glad that we did. It's not a posh place but they make you feel so welcome it was nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent everything we ordered tasted real good even the house wine was good. Will be going back to try the rest of the menu."

"Mithra's( @mithrasrestaurant ) is a modest turkish restaurant very close to East Croydon station. We were at the neighborhood for house hunting and we just happened to walked in to the restaurant for a late lunch. Pricing is quite affordable and portions are generous. Food tastes absolute divine. The photos do not look good because of the weird green light they have everywhere in the restaurant. The decor do not do justice to the food they serve here. We ordered a falafel with some turkish coffee for starters. Undoubtedly, that's the best falafel I had it in quite some time. Served with some yummy chilly dip, hummus and tzatziki. We loved it so much that we ordered some lamb kebabs. The kebabs were just rightly spices, moist and juicy. I would definitely like to come back here to try more food in their menu. P.s. the Turkish coffee with marshmallows is a must try."

"We had lunch here today (3 of us) and it was lovely. The staff were polite and welcoming and the food was delicious. I started with the baked Feta cheese in filo pastry and followed that with a chicken and avocado salad. It was so nice. It was my first time in a Turkish restaurant (same for one of my friends) and we had a great time. We'd definitely go back."
