"Stayed over night in the Purley area for work and wanted to watch the world cup semi finals. Ended up in this pub. Sports viewing was great and they had a big selection of drinks. Will definitely return when stay near again."
"We visited on a Thursday lunchtime and ordered food (10 food orders)for a birthday. The pub itself is lovely inside and prices very reasonable. The food was also delicious. I've given 4 stars only because the food (all ordered together) came out in dribs and drabs with the 1st plate arriving approx 20-30 mins before the last. We were not overly fussed as they were clearly understaffed and it was a large order but it would have been nice if they had acknowledged and apologised for the meals coming out at considerable time differences. Overall we had a lovely time and I would definitely return here and would recommend to others. Hopefully the staffing can be sorted soon as previous visits have always been top notch."
