"First visit to this pub. Sad to say that although we arrived at 1:10 pm, the day’s special of roast lamb was finished, despite adverts for this choice. Roasts are served 12 - 8. But second choice was excellent - roast pork with everything I would want. Tasty and hot with good portion size. Had sticky toffee rum flavoured pudding with ice cream and a cappuccino. Bill was very reasonable and service was polite friendly and quick. Glitch on in-house app, in that payment was taken but the order did not reach the kitchen, despite receiving confirmatory E-mail. However, food was good, as was ambience, so will return soon."
