"Having seen the sign on the main road several times we made a concerted effort to visit Curry Nights on Monday and can safely say it was the best eating decision we have made in a long time. Both a takeaway with delivery but now also a restaurant with beautifully set table and chairs and great lighting, we were warmly greeted and looked after from the moment we arrived and the chef was happy to discuss what we liked and helped with our choices. The best bhajis we have tasted in a long time, the curries that were tailored to our heat strength preferences perfectly, the Masala Tea at the end just all made for a wonderful experience. Not yet licenced so take your own alcohol and limited comfort facilities but expanding their restaurant offerings regularly definitely worth checking this place out. We will definitely be returning as soon as possible."
"Great food and lovely owner and chef! Lamb Madras on point. New table cloths, cutlery, etc. incoming. The place will be a lot nicer in a couple weeks."
"Excellent food, really friendly people, best Indian food I have ever tasted. Don’t be to afraid to ask for some you particularly like, these guys will always accommodate you"
"Ordered food for the first time. Collection was supposed to be 25 mins, but food finally ready in 70 minutes. Part of order was missing, but we had paid for more than we got. Portions were small, but also unpleasantly greasy. The mixed starter was swimming in oil. The chicken curry contained only 5 pieces and was not enough. Bizarrely, the rice and pieces of inedible lemon skin in it, which was then impossible to eat. Avoid this place. Don’t believe the positive reviews."
"I popped by this place on vacation. The restaurant doesn’t have tables or chairs yet, but the ratings were great so I decided to give it a try. Manzur was kind enough to let me sit in the one chair available to eat because it was raining hard. Let me tell you, if you live nearby and you’ve never been to this restaurant, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! The garlic naan was the best I’ve ever had! Unlike most places that just put a garlicky paste on the naan, this place baked it into the naan. I could see large pieces of sliced garlic as I broke it apart. And the naan itself was soft and doughy, exactly as you’d hope! The Balti tikka masala had a really nice mix of flavors that blended together very well. And the rice was soft and chewy, just as it should be. Manzur was very friendly and you can tell how passionate he is about making quality food. So while the restaurant aspect is still in development, the most important part of it, the food was incredible. So if you’re looking for a new place to eat and you enjoy quality Indian food, I highly recommend giving this place a try."
