"Very authentic Taiwanese cuisine Their beef noodle soup tasted fantastic with great seasoning but the beef chunks were a bit small However, the popcorn chicken meal with rice is highly recommended They are crispy on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside!"
"Best oyster omelet I've had since Shilin Night Market in Taipei. Beef Bao was also excellent."
"I don't really like Bang Bang. Westernised Asian food. But when you suddenly need something to eat (just didn't have time to cook), there's not much choice in the area. I ordered from Formosa (on Uber) hoping for something good, but expecting something rubbish. Let me say, I was taken back by how good the food is here. Tastes authentic and some of the best Taiwanese food I've had. The portion size is just right. The quality of ingredients are brilliant. Frankly The Formosa shouldn't be in Bang Bang. They should be a standalone restaurant as they are head and shoulders above the other stalls here. The three cup chicken was great. The ginger chicken soup in particular was brilliant. Deep fried chicken steak, awesome. The Pak choi, excellent. I think the Panna cotta bubble tea dessert could be stronger flavoured though but I dont think that's fair for me to say - it's not like this is a traditional Taiwanese dessert. I'll definitely order again and look to dine in too. Very happy"
"Nice tasty food. The pork bao was very good. One of the best bao for sure! Excellent fried chicken! So was the three cup chicken….very tasty. The chicken curry is so nice, home cooked taste, very subtle and moorish. The only disappointment was the beef soup. The beef was definitely not fresh at all. Had a funny taste and horrible texture. The soup broth was actually good. Nice herbal flavours. Shame the beef meat was a bit old. (So giving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Or it was definitely a five star experience. Had ordered it on ubereats…..the delivery time was quick. The food packaging was excellent too. Also do try the oyster omelette. Not bad. Overall seems like nice place. They just got to be careful of not serving old/ not fresh food…."
"It's just too good to be true! As a Taiwanese, the taste of Taiwan is just over here! I have been to this restaurant a couple of times, the quality keeps going better and better. We tried Beef Noodle Soup (紅燒牛肉麵) and Short Rib Meal (醬燒牛肋飯) this time, the problem with it is we always ending up too full! Remember to order Fried Popcorn Chicken (酥炸鹹酥雞), either take away or adding to your order, truly recommend! FYI, my next visit will order Oyster Omelette (蚵仔煎), typical night market food. :D"
