"We had the misfortune to be invited to this restaurant/event hall for a small birthday. A baptism was also booked on this day, which meant the absolute loudest music by terrible musicians. We were not warned ahead of time about the music, which is the absolute least they could do. There were also a total of maybe one waiter/bus boy, one manager, and the owner covering 30+ tables, so you bet that our food arrived cold, very late, and wrong. I do not blame staff at all - this is 100% the owner’s fault for A) not hiring enough staff and B) hosting events and taking bookings IN THE SAME ROOM. Not only was the entire experience and atmosphere awful (I’m Romanian, I know this type of event with loud music, and I want to have the option of whether or not I want to be part of it), but the food has made me quite ill. Not food poisoning ill, but it did not sit well with me at all - I had the pretty basic stuff too. My eardrums are still ringing several hours earlier so I really hope they haven’t caused any actual damage with the absolute loudest, most annoying music ever."
"We went to this restaurant....not happy about it...service really slow....nothing on the menu available....we've been given what was left ...we asked for semi sweet wine....first bottle was fine...then 3 different ones we got were semi dry but we were told it's the same....after each bottle there was none of it in stock...my food was burned.... different platters and portions...one bottle of wine was added to the note at the end... At the end we were asked for money for a small flower that was on the table after spending almost £700...one of the boys gave it to a girl... unbelievable service....reserve a table and when you get there you might get have to move it yourself.... I am never going back there.... I recommend you not too Too expensive for the service available"
"I had a really good time here with my family, being far from home this place manage to bring the atmosphere from Romania with live music and our traditional dishes. A good place for a Saturday evening, celebrate an important event or just to have a drink at the terrace."
"The best soup in Romania is here, ciorba radauteana is amazing and you can’t stop from eating. The sour cream as well , maybe if the bread will be as few months ago will be better but is over 5 stars."
"Very disappointed. If you -If for some reason you want to go there please check your bill before paying. They like to trick you. -Food quality is very disappointing. Some of the ham was old and hard.Pork belly was a big piece of fat( no meet at all). Potatoes form the meat plate was still half frozen jacket potatoes in aluminium foil, we asked for some fries instead ( but they add them on the till at the end. Some of traditional food (mici)wasn’t enough cooked. In the meat plate had to include pickles but they’ve added those two portions into the bill. Roe salad- was the poorest quality ever. The waitress was drinking together with guests. And dropped some of our fries( that was supposed to be free but at the end we paid for them)on someone’s plate, and didn’t bother to bring other. On the pictures looks everything beautiful but actual quality of the food was horrible. Only the atmosphere was nice because of live music."
