"We went in about late afternoon/early evening without a booking, Manager Matthew, although very busy was very accommodating and said he would get us a table in an hour despite a notice on the door to say that as it's Mother's Day, they were sorry they could not accommodate walk in customers. We went back in an hour and were given a table and the most courteous of service from the manager as well as Courtney, a very charming and efficient and friendly server. She was attentive and treated us very well. What a lovely first experience at this Mitchel's & Butlers chain. Thank you Matthew and Courtney for your attentive and friendly service. Will definitely recommend and the food was good and piping hot as well. This is with the fact that it was quite busy with many tables waiting to be served. Well done and thank you again. "The place was a bit busy. Food was nice. Only thing I would suggest was, the person taking the order to try and not make a mistake. As I item we wanted we didn't get. Also the server brought 1 main meal out to us while we were still eating our starter. Which we felt awkward as when the server asked should they take back the meal, we said yes as we haven't finished this."

"Delicious food, generous portions, friendly staff. They have a locked car park with free parking and they let us park there while we went for a walk after our meal. Would recommend."
