"Formerly an Ask restaurant that we visited many times over the years but now is totally Italian in terms of staff & cuisine. Extensive menu & on this occasion we had Penne Alfredo & Fegato + a shared starter - the meals are definitely 'substantial'! If you prefer a little privacy there is a small area up one step from the main area which we headed for! Worth calling in advance to check which nights have live music. The 12 & a half % service charge seems to be the norm now but staff are polite, friendly & professional so no problem."

"Amazing dining experience and splendid service! We ordered risotto pollo e fungi (chicken and mushroom risotto) and tagliatelle gamberi e aspargi (fettucine with prawns and asparagus) and they were absolutely nothing like we tasted before. Both were scrumptious and cooked to the right texture. Comfort food at its best! I recommend adding the red-pepper-infused olive oil while savouring their cuisines. The server/host Luca was especially friendly. He helped us with sprinkling cheese powder and pepper, then upon settling our bill, offered us complimentary Limoncello which tasted really delicate. If you’re ever in Twickenham, this is the place to check out for a cosy and warm dining experience."

"Highly recommend this restaurant for dine in! Great food and ambiance. The host, Mr. Luca was friendly, pleasant and was kind to walk us through the menu, & helped us select our vegetarian options for lunch. For starter, we had the Melanzane Alla Parmigiana (perfectly baked aubergine. And for the mains- the vegetariana pizza & Penne All'Arrabiata (veg). The home made tiramisu, was absolutely delicious! "There's a lot of Italian restaurants in Twickenham, my friend and I, who live locally, are slowly getting through all of them. Da Alfredo had great staff who engaged in friendly banter, accommodated our request for a window table and had great menu suggestions. The restaurant was very clean and the food served was perfectly porpotioned and very tasty. My friend and I overestimated the bill and were impressed with the value for money."
