"We were passing and were looking for a chippy. We used to go to Ackies however they have now changed owners and after the last 2 meals being average with the orders wrong we needed a new chippy. This place is new. And they are having issues with the card payment system. However it worked the day we went. The food was processed quick enough but cooked. The staff were friendly and chatty. The food was excellent. 3 Cheese burgers, 3 chips & large sausages for the dog. Each price tasted properly cooked and very tasty. Not low quality burger meat, nice buns, fresh salad. Tasty. Will be back again next chippy tea ! Updated 23-03-28, still the chippy we choose to drive to. Fish chips and peas, robins lane special (burger and chips), steak pudding & chips. All very tasty. Best chippy in at Helens by far!"
