"Amazing, absolutely amazing food, I highly recommend this the meat and veg are cooked to perfection very tender and soft"
"Wanted to try this friendly looking pub. Turned up without a reservation ( not a good idea ) but they was very pleased to fit us in. Beautiful carvery. Definitely coming again."
"Lovely food. The seating area was quiet (Friday tea time). I had the steak pie which was nice. I will be returning."
"Sunday lunch was great. Other opening times for food and food offerings needs looking at. Midweek pie I had was poor. Will go again though and try other offering. Service and staff good."
"Friendly pub in the heart of Abram. Good selection of beers, classic “pub grub” Fish & Chips, Etc. Sunday Roast served. Internally pub looks a little tired. But it’s clean, and the staff very polite and pleasant. Ordered Fish & Chips, plus a vegetarian curry. These took just over 45 minutes to be delivered to the table, and the veggie curry was accidentally replaced by a chicken based one. Oops! Another 20 minutes and the veggie curry landed. Half and half with chips and rice. The fish and chips was very good. The veg curry was ok. Rice was cold, and the breads totally un edible. There are only two veggie dishes on the entire menu as set meals. It’s possibly not the best place to bring a veggie. Beer was served cold and fresh. An extra star would of been earned if we hadn’t waited over an hour for food, the rice had been warm, and the naan bread not totally inedible."
