"Ok we have had a fair few chippy teas from here since moving to the area, and they have always been fantastic, so we decided a few weeks ago to try the Chinese food, and it was very nice indeed. On the back of that we tried it again last night, and wow what a disappointment it was, don't get me wrong there was nothing wrong with the portion sizes and it was cooked well and piping hot, however I am not sure if it was because the takeaway was so busy last night, but food was tasteless and really bland, I had the House special fried rice and apart from the drizzle of sweet and sour sauce over the top of it, it tasted of just plain boiled rice, even the meat was bland. My wife had a Beef chow mein with crispy noodles and hers was also very bland and tasteless. We will carry on using the chippy for chippy teas, but as for the Chinese food it will be a while before we use it for that again."
