Reviews of Liquor and Burn
"Buffalo chicken blasts were a good portion size with a dipping sauce. For main I had the popcorn shrimp tacos which were a great size so they weren’t messy to eat and were tasty. 2-4-1 margaritas available if that is your drink choice. Restaurant space was spacious and had a friendly vibe. Food wait time was quite long but overall worth the wait."
"Great atmosphere, great food and very friendly staff. The menu has a great choice of meat and veggie burritos. 2 for 1 margaritas which were all delicious. The bill for 4 people came to £140 but this was well worth it."
"Amazing food and staff! I was there with my friend already a bit tipsy, but the staff was so patient, friendly and fun! The food portions were massive, especially for the price, and so delicious! Btw, the best BBQ cauliflower I've had in my life! Would definitely recommend!"
"I've not been here before and was really looking forward to a quick Mexican bite to eat before heading to the academy for a gig. The key word being "quick" there. Unfortunately that wasn't the case, we arrived approximately 5.30pm, i took 15minutes for someone to come and take our order. The server was only going to take drinks at first till we said we'd like to order food now too as we were a little pressed for time. 50minutes later our food arrived. There was no apology for the delay, no waitress asked if we'd like a refill on our drinks during this time (we had to ask)... How does it take that long to make a couple of burritos and dirty chips? However the food was delicious, and was throughly enjoyed, but we had to eat it quickly! There was an added compulsory service charge of £5 added to our bill, which I thought was a unacceptable given the service so we asked to get this removed. It was only at this point we got an apology for the slow service and the manager gave us 50% off our bill, which we didn't expect. I Can understand it was pride weekend so maybe busier than normal, but measures should have been put in place to avoid such shockingly slow service. Overall the food itself was fantastic and good choice of drinks / margaritas but I'd like to think service would be much quicker next time."
"Absolutely the best burrito I've ever had in my life!!! Can't stop thinking about it! I had the Birria Burrito. Also the egg rolls were gorgeous as were the cauliflower bites. Lots of options for vegan and vegetarians also. Watermelon margarita was beautiful. Can't wait to go again!"
