"Had a birthday meal here, very nice food and decent price, especially with the free bottle of wine for the birthday girl (my partner) lovely atmosphere and quick service (which was the only complaint I had previously, this is much better now!)"
"Had a lovely meal at the Mare & Colt this evening and can recommend the gammon with rum and cola glaze and the wife doesnt do puddings but demolished the mini brownie. Our server, Millie, is friendly and helpful and had a great sense of humour. Happy to recommend."
"Lovely refit and freindly staff, the beer selection was good. Only negative was the serving time for food finished at 8 on the dot which we managed but had we been a minute later we were informed it would have been a firm no to food! This is early I understand 8.30 or 9 but it would influence me in the future to drop in or not for dinner. Otherwise I would recommend this pub, just don't be late!! Food was tasty, pie was a good size too."
"Absolutely amazing! The bar/restaurant looks beautiful after the refurb. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Lots of choice on the menu and the food was amazing. I can highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. We're looking forward to returning again soon."
"I've been here several times lately for the Sea Food Grill: sea bass, salmon and tiger prawns, cooked to perfection at £17.99 it's worth a try, the sweet menu is also very tempting. The staff are very friendly, I love it."
