"Starter and steak ok. Pudding disappointing. Pimms Eton Mess, poor presentation in breakfast bowl, too much cream, little fruit and meringue, no hint of Pimms. Also chips not as good as roast potatoes of the past management. Service fine and attentive."

"Came for a early valentines meal, one of the first ones in. We was welcomed in and shown to our table, was then presented with fresh bread which was still warm. Ordered drinks which I ordered off the cocktail menu for valentines and what seemed to be the manager was talking to us about making them. Really friendly, had a laugh and made sure we was well looked after! Food was absolutely unreal, by far one of the best steaks I’ve had! You got plenty of food and the manager was more than happy to tell you if you ordered too much which I thought was a nice touch as he didn’t want you paying for something you didn’t eat which was fair enough. All the staff was lovely, very cosey feel. Will definitely be going back, worth the hours drive!"
