Reviews of Little Bangla Bangladeshi & Indian Cuisine
"Best Bangladeshi resturant I've ever been to and I not ashamed to say....I've been to a fair few. Chicken tikka masala and lamb saag are to die for ❤"
"Discovered this little gem while dog training at the Crosswells pub down the road, so decided to try a takeaway, the food is superb and the staff were friendly,it was Saturday night and the restaurant was pretty full. We will be using this service again and look forward to sampling more of the menu."
"Visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday (Friday). We had a table at 6.30 and there were two other tables occupied. Although reasonably capacious, the restaurant was close to full by 7.30. We went here because the reviews were good. Although not as excellent as we'd hoped, the food, service and atmosphere was good, albeit becoming noisy by the time we left. I had tikka fish as a starter, which was OK but rather bland. (I usually have masala fish if I have a fish starter which is much more interesting but wasn't on offer here.) At almost £5.00, the few pieces of fish tikka was not good value for money and I wouldn't bother with it again if I return. My main course was chicken jalfrezi with a plain naan. The chicken was chicken tikka strips rather than my preference of plain chunks of chicken. The source was tasty enough but I'd prefer the chilli to be more integral to the source rather than having half a dozen chillies added to the mix to provide the piquancy. Bizarrely, the jalfrezi came with rice, whether you wanted it or not! My wife had a vegetarian platter starter, which she enjoyed, followed by lamb jalfrezi and a corriander naan. She rated the whole meal about 8/10. Our grandson had chicken tikka follwoed by chicken korma and garlic rice. His only 'complaint' was that the garlic rice had very little evidence of garlic. Overall, cost just over £60 (plus tip), including three soft drinks (I took my own bottle of beer). So probably go back again to try some of the more unusual menu items."
"Probably the best Indian / Bangladeshi restaurant we've ever been in. The atmosphere was let's say above average. The food though was off the scale. 100%+. Easy to see why they were voted No.1 Bangladeshi in the UK. Prices were fantastic. Service was fantastic. Honestly couldn't fault anything. 2nd visit was just a good, maybe even better. Prices are still very reasonable even with rampant inflation."
