"Was staying at a hotel and Ordered some food on just eat. The estimated time for delivery Had passed but the app said the food was delivered. So i phoned the restaurant to find out what happened. I was told that the driver arrived, tried phoning me, but no answer, so they left (I didn't recieve any phonecalls, I was using my phone all the time I was waiting for my delivery) . The guy on the phone apologised, and said he would get fresh food made up for me. After I got off the phone I realised there were missed calls from the driver, even though my phone didn't ring. 15 minutes my replacement order arrived, the driver was apologetic and understanding, and smiling, even though the initial problem was kind of my fault (technology problem I guess),.... Food was lovely, full of flavour, and hot. ..And this was at 3am. That's what you call customer service! Great food, great service, great restaurant. Fully recommend"
"Was in Manchester for the weekend and wanted to grab lunch before we left. Found Roots via Just Eat and what a good call it was. Ordered the chicken and beef burger, the chicken wrap, salt and pepper box and peri wings. The chicken clearly is prepared with buttermilk because it's incredibly soft, well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The chips are nice with half skin on. Would definitely go again. 5 stars!"
"Fantastic cheeseburger and fries. Best comparator I can think of is Five Guys. Burger really was amazing, tender meat, soft brioche bun, fresh salad, proper stringy cheese and delicious tomato relish. Fries were not frozen muck you get elsewhere. Crispy outside and fluffy inside, big portion too. All served with a dip and can of Coke. Lunch time menu is a steal, great value any other time too. Friendly gent serving and obviously cooked with love and care. Thank you, I’ll be back when I’m next in Salford."
