"The food tasted great with a good selection of wine to compliment with. The reason I gave it 4 stars was because service was a little slow even during less busy periods. The music was also a little too loud for dinner time. Aside from that the staff were very friendly and a great place to dine with friends or date."
"To be completely honest this restaurant isn't that bad. The waiters seem knowledgeable about everything on the menu (as they should be) and they're also all friendly. Food from here was quite nice, again nothing special but for the price I can't complain. I had the lamb shank which was nice and came with a nice jus - if I'm being picky, there wasn't really a lot of sauce but it was fine. Everybody else in my group liked the food and didn't have a bad word to say about it. The tables are quite small and a group of 5 of us did feel a touch cramped at times. Didn't have to wait ages for our food either which is always a plus. I've read some bad reviews about this place but my experience of it was good, not great but not bad. I wouldn't mind coming back again. TOP TIP - get the pasta thing that they cook in front of you with a blowtorch, it's really cool!"
"Cibo is running an August 50% offer on food. Great until you receive the bill. Ordered 3 Chateaubriand and charged us 6x£10 supplement. The dessert charged at full price without 50% off. There was mold on the fresh fruit in the cocktail. The starters came more than 1hr late. Including one starter which took longer than a football match plus extra time to arrive. This was even after we pre ordered the food days in advance on request by the Manager. The Pate felt like fine sand in the mouth. The dipping sauce come in 1 tiny teaspoon size servings. The Chateaubriand at £60 original ticket price was cooked to perfection but the texture was like a cheap rump steak from your local pub steak night. The dessert platter was missing the profiteroles. On confronting the Manager about the bill, he said the Chateaubriand supplement was a mistake it should be 3x£10. But the dessert is not included in the 50% offer as the dessert menu is separate from the Ala Carte menu. So dessert is not food everyone. Enjoy your time at Cibo where service is slow, the fruit is moldy, the fillet steak taste like rump, and the dessert is not considered food. We didn't even notice the bill didn't get 50% off for the pizza that came after 1.5hrs late until the next day. Antonio the Manager. Hats off to you for getting everything that can go wrong, go wrong in exceptionally bad manner. Brilliant. Thanks for spoiling our birthday gathering to the max."
"Couldn’t tell if I was in an Italian restaurant or a US Rap party, at one point there was even Soulja boy and Cardi B, BLASTING out the speakers couldn’t hear myself think. Food was good no complaints there was lovely. Service however… be prepared to spend atleast 4 hours in this place is all I’ll say."
