Reviews of Baity Palestinian Kitchen
"A restaurant we were very hopeful for, we had received many recommendations and heard very good things of Baity Palestinian Kitchen. The decor is nice and relaxed, it feels welcoming, the front of house staff were good if a little indifferent. The food was very good on the whole, with 2 excellent dishes and 2 mediocre ones. Will happily eat here again if going with friends but if looking for the best of Middle Eastern food I would venture elsewhere."
"This place was recommended to me by my client as I was over from ireland on work. First time ever having Palestinian food. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I was welcomed warmly by the waitresses and the lady took time to explain the dishes to me and recommend one. The food was absolutely heavenly I have never tasted flavours like that which complimented each other so well. The humous was silky smooth with subtle hints of spice and garlic through it. The bread it was served with was warm which was an excellent touch to the dish. I ordered the Chicken dish and it was succulent tender and the meat fell off the bone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough or explain the flavours in a way that will do it justice you have to try it to understand"
"Middle Eastern cuisine is just not shawarma and kebabs, there is a lot lot more to it and this restaurant is the perfect place to be introduced to other flavours. Location - The place is right on the main streets of Didsbury. A little walk from tram station but it isn’t inaccessible. Ambiance- Clean and minimal aesthetics. Not a fancy fine fine interiors but it is beautifully decorated and serves the purpose. Food- They are serving a niche market by not serving kebab wraps and rolls but providing authentic Middle Eastern flavours. Every single dish we ordered was mind blowing. The spice levels were perfect and the food wasn’t greasy. I really loved every bite of my meal and to my surprise, there were plenty of vegetarian options as well. Loved the place and surely will be visiting to try more dishes"
"The starters were better than the mains. The fish was flavourful but nothing exceptional and I couldn’t see (or, rather, taste) why the chicken was award- winning. It did the job and filled me up with adequate flavours. I was expecting to be mind blown but it didn’t reach that level. Palestinian, pretty decor and place to pray with attentive and friendly staff made the place worth the visit. I’ll be back to try other dishes."
