"Located just outside of Manchester City center, this hidden gem is a must-try. This buffet style hotpot is very good value for money and for a slight extra fee, you can also enjoy grilled meat on top of the hotpot as well. The food was served fresh and the staff were very helpful and friendly. If you love hot pot and grilled meat, then you must give this restaurant a try. Overall, the cost was approximately £30 per person if you share the bill with friends. If not, it's just slightly more expensive."
"I recently dined at this Chinese restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the service. In particular, they allowed me to customise my dish! Very impressed with the patient and the customer service. Unsurprisingly, The dishes were all expertly prepared and full of bold, authentic flavours. The service was also top-notch, with the waitstaff being friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience and I would highly recommend this Chinese restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service. "Initially made up to find this place so near to the Apollo but that happiness soon changed when we set eyes upon the food we had ordered. We selected, what we thought were simple fast options- chicken fried rice, salt and pepper chips and curry sauce. 5-10 minutes before anything (including drinks) arrived, a bowl of curry sauce with a spoon was placed infront of us like it was soup starter. The chicken was limp, oily and inedible. It was the palest chicken fried rice of all time- no colour (minus a handful of peas) and no flavour. The only time the rice entered a pan was when it was boiled- nothing fried about it. The chips were two handfuls (max) of frozen chips, tossed in a small amount of seasoning with a handful of peppers. The drinks were warm and 'for the price, the portions were small. I am disappointed in myself for paying and not refusing. Overall, I would NOT recommend this place. Avoid and save yourself the disappointment!!"
"Called in for a meal with my wife in December 2021; given its excellent location just over the road from the O2 Apollo. Greeted with a nice welcome from the staff. The place was clean; with staff wearing masks and sanitizer available. We didn’t feel rushed at any point, and although every table was occupied the atmosphere was relaxed. We went for the set menu that offered a fair choice and was well priced. The food was very good quality and although simply presented was extremely tasty and very flavoursome – with good sized portions. Would recommend, and would have no hesitation in calling in again if were we seeing a show at the Apollo again."
