"Was told 30 mins for delivery. Took over an hour and a half. Arrived with Cold chips and naan bread. Onion bajis were cooked on the outside but stone cold, soggy and not cooked on the inside. Phoned up and explained to be shouted at saying they will sort it. Driver brought it back and said it was packaged right so it should have been fine. The onion bajis were cooked this time but tasted awful. The naan bread is so thick and stodgey. Whole meal was awful."

"I'm saddened to want to write this. My family and I discovered Zaffran by chance and decided to give them a go. We took a chance from our usual Indian eatery in Castle Street, Edgeley. We found the food nice at first, however we were troubled by the service (or lack of it). We gave Zaffran another go to improve service but they didn't. Around 3 weeks ago we gave an order by phone and Zaffran got most of the order wrong even after we had repeatedly phoned them to find out how much long now. Zaffran had to return with the rest of our missed order half way though our meal. Yesterday, my family gave Zaffran the chance to improve (nobodies perfect) and guess what they got it completely wrong. We waited over 2 hours with 3 phone calls to get updated on when it was arriving. Eventually we asked to speak to the owner who didn't seem to care about us being inconvenienced by his business and offered us a pathetic 10% off (rather than for free with an appology). His attitude was not respectful for a business owner to a customer if the customer was to remain loyal. Discusting service and not worthy of being in business to provide customers with a quality product that they are paying for with hard earned money and no shortage of competitors in the area. After over 2 and half hours of waiting Zaffran suddenly implied that they had NEVER ACTUALLY RECIEVED OUR ORDER IN THE FIRST PLACE. Agonishingly poor way to do business. I think that we are giving Zaffran a well deserved wide berth and going back to there competitor who we have been loyal to for years. So much for giving someone new a chance."

"Hello, we’ve used Zaffran for years. Am very disappointed at their mean and stingy ness tonight. Ordered food at 7.30 ish it was delivered but without one of our curries- the chicken tikka masala. We rang to let them know about this and waited until it was delivered eventually at 8.45pm ish and they would not refund the £5.85!! We were fobbed off with ....... “we will refund you next time you order” Feel disinclined order again. Come on Zaffran! Better customer service."

"Extremely good takeaway food! We regularly go here of a weekend and have never been disappointed. Curries are very tasty and the banquet starter is an excellent sharer to kick off a meal. The portions are large and the food seems freshly made, it takes 15 -20 mins to cook and you can watch them work in the very open kitchen. Staff very friendly. Highly recommended."
