"We came here on my partner’s birthday with her sister for lunch. She was so looking forward to it, and Necco Japanese Cafe Bar did not disappoint with the food. It’s so delicious. The only thing that let us down is the service. Three of us ordered and only two came to the table. So one of us had to seat there and watch the others eat while waiting for her meal. Obviously they forgot the order, it’s ok mistakes happen so we reminded them. Now her order came after we finished eating, so we ordered another dish to accompany her so she doesn’t eat on her own. And guess what, the order never came. So we were unlucky enough to have our orders forgotten twice on the same table. Service really needs to improve. Apart from that the food is really good. And would return to give them another chance."

"Probably one of the more authentic Japanese restaurants in London. You can get sake for two for a very reasonable price and it tasted absolutely divine, perfect way to start a meal. The eel maki rolls are really delicious and the Gyu don was very flavourful, with beef so tender that melts in your mouth. There is quite a bit of selection for desserts as well, my personal favourite is the pumpkin cheesecake! The staffs were very welcoming and attentive, I would definitely recommend this place if you want a taste of Japan!"

"Very nice friendly staffs. Pleased with their service. Homemade cakes were all very nice. Matcha Swiss roll has white bean jam and whipped cream in the centre. I liked it a lot. Wall pictures of cats are really cute. Lovely place."
