"The meal was tasty. But in my opinion the rice was over seasoned with vinegar/soy sauce so it was hard to taste the fish. Also, the experience happens at a very loud food hall, which I guess is not true Omakase vibe either. I enjoyed it, but IMHO you can spend 45£ at a good sushi restaurant and probably get better value. Still the cheapest Omakase out there."
"Had the omakase meal here on 7/2. It a different style Japanese- beautiful piece of fresh fish but small and there did not quench our appetites. The dishes which was about 8 was good bite size piece and definitely a 5/5 for taste expect the last which was fatty tuna. But it was not sufficient to for a meal and over priced considering it was £45 for 8 pieces. 5/5 on taste but 2/5 on price, 4/5 for ambiance - nice chef’s table and could watch him in action. Had to order a further tow dishes which added another £30 To the meal."
"Came here absolutely accidentally and loved the food! ✨ the appearance, the freshness and taste surprised me! Didn’t much liked the rolls, but everything else was fab ❤️"
"One of the best omakase I had in London, Chef Michael he is great and lovely he explained every dishes. Each dish was different yeah the menu is limited but it worth to try , the vibes is amazing as well specially in the weekend. Highly recommended if you are in the city and around ."
"The price of the set menu has increased from £45 to £75 per person. You can see that the ingredients are actually salmon and sea bass. This is very absurd. In the whole world, it is difficult to see such low-level salmon in omakase. Ingredients, you can get Hokkaido sea urchin at the same or even lower price in Japan and China. On the other hand, the rice is over seasoned and you won't get any flavor other than the rice. The scallop tempura tastes good, but what's amazing is that the chef puts the tempura deep-fried until crispy in the yuzu sauce, and the tempura's skin is washed and softened. Such cooking methods violate the most basic common sense"
