"I came to The Peoples Pizza a year ago with my partner unexpectedly stumbling on this place. The pizza was SO GOOD that every time someone around me mentioned pizza I told them about this place and recommend it because the pizza's were of such a high standard. So to my surprise when I came today to have the pizza I'd been looking forward to (on and off lol) for a year....I came away empty handed. I came in just before 2pm. Stood at the front, no one around to seat me. Went to the "order here sign." Two blokes either side of the pizza oven playing snooker on there phones. After about a minute and trying to get there attention with a cough they wouldn't even put there heads up. I felt so embarrassed stood there like a lemon I just walked off. As Alex Polizzi once said, you can forgive almost anything if you get good service. In this case, there was no service. Its a shame because as I say the food is beautiful but the service really lets it down."
"I was sitting at The Pub next door sipping on their excellent guest bitter and I was looking at the pizzaiolos getting busy in front of their wood-fired oven. "The pizzas are excellent," the barmaid tells me. Ten minutes after ordering, the pizzaiolo brings a gorgeous Napolino pizza to my table (they must have arrangement between the two establishments), and... ma mamia mia! that was one of the very best pizza I've ever had - and I'm quite fussy with my pizzas."
