"I booked for 15 people a month in advance. There were no staff at all attending to us upstairs. We were up and down the stairs asking for assistance. It took us over an hour to get our starters. We didn’t bother with deserts from the kids piccolo menu as it was over 3 hours and 2 members of our party hadn’t even had their mains. The manager was the most stressed out mess I’ve ever encountered in a restaurant setting, she was totally out of her depth. The waiters were pleasant young men who clearly hadn’t a clue what they were doing nor did they have any experience of hospitality which I don’t believe is their fault in this instance. We weren’t offered any discount ton our considerable bill of over 250 pounds. The manager ended up screaming at my partner and refused to discuss recompense. She also screamed that we weren’t welcome back. I think her name was Eleni, she has blonde hair and looks angry, stressed and a bit scary. It was my sons birthday and totally destroyed the day."
"Atrocious customer service! We were left ignored for twenty minutes, asked twice if we could order and we ignored. The manager Helena was unbelievably rude. Quality of food has been going down steadily while prices have been going up. Don’t waste your money on this place."
"I just want to say , my husband and I went to Dulwich village branch for our date night this evening. We have fond memories of this place, our first date took place here almost 9 years ago!!! Married for almost 8 years. We had the pleasure of being served by two members of staff, one named Marley. Very professional and very helpful and efficient, outstanding service, in every way. They both greeted us with a smile and the atmosphere was totally relaxed. Marley informed us of a special valentines menu if we wished to order from. We had such a lovely evening the food was outstanding as well as outstanding service. Pizza Express, we would just like to say thank you for employing such amazing member of staff and serving such quality food. All our experiences here have always been great, no matter what day of the week or time we come here to eat :)"
