“My 2 year old son Roman started at Tall Trees at around 9 months. He absolutely loves it. Staff are very experienced and have been a great help in guiding me with little tips to assist in dealing with the usual toddler behaviour. It’s lovely when he comes home knowing a new animal noise or dance moves to a song. Even lovelier when one of his little friends calls out for him in the local cafe and me and their mum get talking! Yep, highly recommended!”

“My son has just completed a wonderful 9 months at Forest School. There really doesn’t seem to be any place that he’s happier. The environment is perfect for him (he’s an outdoor kid) but he has learnt so much and grown more confident in every way. The staff really care about each and every one of the kids and it’s delightful to see. Sending him here as a run up to starting school was a great decision and we know he is going to miss everyone terribly.”

“Really fantastic kindergarten nursery. Children are allowed to be wild and get dirty. My daughter has learnt so much about wildlife and her surroundings. She comes home tired out and extremely happy after a day in the woods.”

“Lovely nursery, my son has settled in quickly even though he only goes one day a week. Great garden which the children spend lots of time in and very caring staff. Also have events for all the family like a summer bbq which creates a nice community feel.”

“I looked at over 15 nurseries before I found this hidden gem! Our daughter wanted to get down and play straight away and for us we knew straight away this was the nursery for her. I love the fact all the children play together in the garden, means all the children mix with different age ranges. As a nursery they cant do enough to make sure your happy as parents and that your child is happy in their environment. Their amazingly flexible if you need put your child in extra. Id recommend this nursery over and over again! Wonderful staff= happy children and as parents that's all we wanted was for our daughter to be happy while we work to provide for our family. She's been going here now since she was a year old.”

In fact, I knew the second we walked in the door (having looked round various other nurseries) that it was where I wanted my children to go to nursery. “My little boy is almost 4 and has been attending this school for over a year now. When he first joined - he barely made connections with anyone and played mostly by himself. The difference between then and now is staggering. His speech improved tremendously, he is so very proud of the little things he is learning to do every day and he loves talking about anything and everything. He has built friendships with other children and is very enthusiastic about going to school in the morning. The facilities are fantastic - the school has hundreds of Montessori props and educational toys. The staff is friendly, caring and very consistent with daily routines which makes it so much easier to keep things organised at home. If you want your child to be independent, confident yet kind and respectful - I would thoroughly recommend this school. The way the Bristol Montessori helped my little boy is incredible. Thank you.”

“My son started sunflower nursery in January and loves it here. All staff great him at the door with such a lovely friendly Manor, it's lovely to see him smiling and recognising the ladies now. The nursery keep me updated with pictures and videos via the online portal which is a real comfort seeing gow settled and happy he is there. He has developed and learnt so much in such a short amount of time.”

“This little childcare gem is a true find. Tom and jay are thirtysomethings with a toddler of their own and everything is done with a loving eye. Both are professionals in their own right and bring a design friendly approach to childcare. Plus points for having small children in a cottage setting, surrounded by familiar everyday things. Looking back it was a really special time, their 1st experience of education was in a homely setting with amazing staff.
