“The best attraction in the city of Bradford is this square with park and a giant mirror pool. The square is surrounded by eateries, multiple grocery stores, adjacent bus station and a cineplex just across the road. The historic building of police museum and courts give it an even better and soothing look. The lights on the building has a very festive colourful decor making it a noticeable landmark. The pool has lighting effects with about 100 fountains that make it a beautiful sight markedly at night. The pool is not deep and people usually sit around in summer with their feet in the water. It feels a bit abandoned in winters especially when it’s not sunny.”

“Great charity ran pool, it's large enough for laps, kids loved the shallow end and was heated to perfection. It was raining when we were there so the pool was deserted. It does have a sauna but you'll need to ring up as it's heated by a log burner and takes a few hours to warm up.”

“Really pleasant place to visit for a stroll, as paths are hardcore and so not muddy for walking, wheelchairs or prams. Lovely walks by the river, play area fabulous for kids with plenty of seating for adults to sit and watch, with a nice little cafe on the park serving light meals and cuppas.”

“Best gym in the whole of Bradford lovely staff, brilliant gym equipment. Staff are polite including the manager (which you don’t see everywhere lol) Most of the staff members are the same ones from the legendary Richard Dunns that shut down a few years ago so it keeps it memories fresh. Overall 10/10”

“I went here to do face painting, festival glitter and glitter tattoos for a family fun day barbecue that they have every year. The staff was very friendly and we all had a fantastic day. The food was lovely too! I would definitely recommend it’s a lovely little pub! Can’t wait for next year!”

“The main and most spectacular waterfall in the woods. Can be accessed from Goit Stock Lane or down Hallas Lane. Pick up the signs for the waterfall. Paths can be muddy and slippery so be careful. Popular place. Not safe to swim in.”

“Went three times in the evening during our week stay. Really good fun - the indoor rapids are the best. The Canyon ride is a bit mad and we were a little disappointed that there were no outside rapids like at other Center Parcs. However, it seems that they’re replacing the canyon ride with outdoor rapids next year, which will hopefully be better. Flumes are good too.”

“Both my boys go here for swimming lessons. We change after one of the teachers from here covered a swim lesson at the previous swim school. The difference in teaching style was amazing, found out where she teaches (swim rite) moved my boys there, they have come on leaps and bounds since, with one of my children just about to start swimming competitively and hoping the other one will soon.”

“Interesting nature walk, lots of choice of trails and paths. Picnic tables, lots of benches to rest and take in the views. Parking charge £1.00 in honesty box so very good value morning or/afternoon ramble.”

“We came here on Saturday morning to join in the Parkrun. It's a lovely scenic route to run on a mixture of different paths. The grounds are great with lots of woodland. The parking was free for parkrun and there is a toilet block too. There's a sheep sculpture in the grounds which is pretty cool too.”

“This is West chevin, a really decent walk, takes about an hour to hour and a half, there are plenty of smaller footpaths to take if you want to go off the main path, plenty of wildlife to see, best time to see the wildlife would be early morning, as this is a popular walk, There is a cafe serving takeaways only, coffees are quite good.”
