“My daughters and I have been dancing at Katie Philpott's School of Dance for many years (yes they offer adult tap classes too) and we all really love it. There is a wide choice of dance styles and the teachers are all very friendly whilst remaining professional. Good technique and style are always promoted but the fun aspect of dance is never forgotten! In addition to weekly classes, members can also take part in many fun events such as competitions, dancing outdoors at local summer events and best of all, taking part in the school's dance spectacular every two years (for me nothing beats the buzz of dancing on stage in a theatre show with hundreds of other members!). The school has a family feel and a strong cameraderie between its members. I can't recommend KPSD highly enough and we wouldn't want to dance anywhere else!!”

Taking one very shy, introverted and quite unhappy girl and opening her up beautifully in confidence and self belief and the other, catapulting her on her way to pursuing a place at a musical theatre school. “My granddaughter took part in the Summer Camp this year ( the title is a but confusing as they went to the studio 9.15 to 3.15 and didn't sleep there) anyway on the 8th day they put on a performance and l was so impressed by the sheer delight the pupils all seemed to have in it and the quality of the production and costumes in such a short time. I have been to many such events over the years and this really stood out as excellent.”
