New Hall Hotel & Spa
● OpenWalmley Road, The Royal Town of Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield B76 1QX, United Kingdom“Went for afternoon tea to celebrate a birthday - with elderly mother in wheelchair - on the snowiest day in ages. Was super impressed at how clear the access to the hotel was. Felt completely safe getting in there as the entire long drive was clear as were all the approach paths to the entrance doors. The staff were exceptionally helpful helping us in and as ever the afternoon tea was excellent with a lovely selection of sandwiches and cakes. Brought home enough for another whole afternoon tea!”

Premier Inn West Bromwich Town Centre (New Square) hotel
● Open“This hotel is conveniently located close to the M5 motorway & is in the vicinity of a shopping park, so it has a Tesco petrol station and Tescos close by. There are also the usual brands such as M&S, next, shoe stores and other clothes shops so you won't have to venture far for any supply top up. The staff were excellent as the room's TV remote control didn't work, so it was swapped. I made them aware of a shower leak ( I was given the option to move room and as we were comfortable in the room, towels were supplied to soak up) and loose toilet seat that they made a note of to fix prior to releasing to another customer. The staff were very pleasant and professional, so I would like to congratulate management on the high level of service. I always say it's not about the problems with hotel rooms but it's about the stance the hotel staff take to rectify the problem. I always stay at Premiere Inn, and due to staff at this hotel, I will continue to do so. Photos attached (view from hotel window).”

Hylton Hound Hotel Kennels
● Closed“I had such great experience that I decided to write this one recommendation. First of all, its fantastic that they have online booking system (you are not waiting on the phone or facing to not answering your phone). They are pretty active at fcb. We definitely didnt have any communication issue. The place itself looks like really good - well maintained, clean, nice place. They have big yard and you can see happy dogs playing there supervised by staff. Our dog - American Akita does not accomodate to new place so easily. I was really happy that they were open to work on it and they definitely did extra mile for it! Strongly recommended this place! Even if they manage to take care about large breeds, Im sure that they can handle with any breed :)”

Premier Inn Birmingham City Centre (New St Station) hotel
● Open“The sixth-floor room we stayed in for four nights was impeccable. It was clean, modern, and there was no disturbance from neighbouring rooms. The staff at the hotel were warm and welcoming. The only downside was the slow free WiFi, which might be inconvenient for foreign tourists. Nevertheless, I would still highly recommend this hotel in the bustling city centre of Birmingham.”

Premier Inn Stourbridge Town Centre hotel
● Open“We arrived on 4th Jan to a cold room. The lady that was on that evening she said she had come from another site to cover. She came to the room to check the heating but was unable to fix it. She went away and came back after finding out how the system worked. I want to say she has great customer service and made sure the problem was fixed. Shame I did not get her name. The following day I met the receptionist Maz she was super friendly and smiley and a great personality. She is an asset to your company as she has great customer service skills. The lady I met on the evening reception unfortunately I did not get her name she also had great customer service and friendly. Stourbridge Premier Inn in my experience have a great Team and brilliant customer service.”

Holiday Inn Express Tamworth, an IHG Hotel
● Open“The hotel (1.9.22) was absolutely fine but the 5 stars relates to the two staff having to deal with the reception, bar and restaurant in the evening. They were short of drink at the bar and food in the restaurant but the staff couldn’t be more helpful, offering a free dinner due to a wait. Well done”

Premier Inn Birmingham City - Aston hotel
● Open“Recently stayed before an exam and I was a little unsure of what to expect as previously I had always stayed in the Aloft Marriot hotel.. I was so impressed! The friendliness and efficiency of the staff was second to none. The lady who arrived us in and later served in the restaurant is a great asset to the hotel. The room was amazingly clean and spacious, I regret not staying here for my previous study trips!”

Premier Inn Birmingham City Centre Broad Street hotel
● OpenEssington Street, Birmingham B16 8AL, United Kingdom“The rooms were clean and tidy. We're a few general wear and tear as you'd expect. A good car park feels secure. Good location as its just of the main street. But I'm writing this as Owen was amazing! I'm not a morning person but he made me one that day. He was so lovely and welcoming made me feel valued. He was chatty and friendly gave recommendations. He was just amazing. I hope he sees this and should be told he's doing an amazing job! We will be visiting again just to see him! Honestly he's a vital asset to company and the business!”

Premier Inn Birmingham South (Longbridge Station) hotel
● Open“Rooms were absolutely stunning and had everything you need. Total let down at breakfast the whole self service was a rush and food was exposed considering we are coming out of the pandemic precautions and basic hygiene was not taken in to consideration. The whole breakfast was just shambles in short and hot food arrived cold.”

-
The Station Hotel & Banqueting
● Open“Couldn't fault it, clean and efficient, perfect for a working week just to lay your head, especially if alone as single room is more like a bedsit with proper kitchen sink, work surfaces and cooking facilities, also take advantage of 3 communal washing machines ! It really is a decent little bedsit type room - if you insist on finding a fault...then I'd go maybe better windows required for what traffic you do hear (on a main road in Dudley), but even that's not overly distracting - all in all, a very acceptable place to stay”
-
Copthorne Hotel Merry Hill-Dudley
● Open“Warm friendly staff happy to go above & beyond. Clean, comfortable spacious room, great to have control over heating, thermostatically controlled radiator, and ventilation, tilt top opening window - fresh air! So almost silent compared to air con style systems in hermetically sealed rooms. There was also a stand-alone fan system available but didn't need to use that it. Good quality thick black out curtains so no intrusive light from outside at night, nice view over the canal. Good sized pool for a UK hotel, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room & plenty of gym facilities. Extensive range of food available for breakfast. I'd recommend & stay with the chain again.”
-
Hotel ibis Styles Birmingham Centre
● Open“We have stayed here many times over the years, usually when we are in town to see a show at the Utilita arena, which is a fifteen minute walk away by the canal from the hotel. We always have a great stay in this hotel, the rooms are comfortable, the staff are amazing, the location is central and it has its own underground car park. Highly recommended”
