“Just saw new year 2020 in this amazing club, so much fun to be had in here! The club was warm and very friendly, with cheap drinks. Easy access and somewhere to leave your bag and coat. The club has a varied clientele and was impressed by the facilities. Will defo be back here to enjoy the company of like minded guys. Very much a place to relax and enjoy life in. LOVED IT”

“Tasty food, we had the large mixed grill on a collection. The food was fresh, slightly smaller portion that at the Soho Cottage but equally as tasty. Great sheikh kebab. Would like to see it come with a naan if i had to be picky but other than that top notch and worth a try! Havent commented on atmosphere as we didnt dine in.”

“Great well maintained and laid out place. Beer and food were excellent. Members only so you have to go with a member but worth it . Had Sunday lunch which was nice. Staff were excellent too. Lovely afternoon spent with friends and family.”

“Great mix grill especially the fish and kebab! I would recommend anyone to try this authentic indian cuisine. Please be aware this is not a restaurant, it is a club who serve food at restaurant quality standards. Therefore you need to pay up front when ordering food or drink. Their prices are great value compared to restaurants. The service is very good especially that you do not pay the usual 10% service charge. I looked over to the kitchen and the waiter was quick to respond. Saying that the kitchen is very clean and tidy. So if you dont mind paying upfront and having a good authentic meal at an affordable price this is the place.”

“Outstanding food at pre-2008 prices. Few things compare to a Desi pub - great cuisine, friendly locals and a down-to-earthness (look it up) severely lacking in towns across the land. Having ventured down to the Black Country from Wrexham, we found our train delayed by an hour or four, so decided to hop off at the Hawthorns train station, walking to the Sportsman on the recommendation of Jay Rayner in the Guardian. I can say with some certainty our return leg will have a similar pit-stop (and the luggage will have copious room for leftovers!). Well done all involved and what a refreshing lunch it was for two wee Welsh women.”

“Really great place. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Great prices for tables, food and drink. We've started going every week as we enjoy it so much. They even have an onsite barber at certain times, so great if you fancy a hair cut while you're there. Would definitely recommend.”
