“This is a local pub for me that I hadn't been in before, it was worth the five star rating. The food was delicious, the staff are just really nice and very helpful. The decor is nice and has a large beer terrace/garden. Will definitely become my regular now.”

“Booked this place not really knowing anything about it and was really very surprised at just how good the food here is. The steaks were the very best we've ever eaten from any restaurant and all at super reasonable prices. The knives fell through the rump with ease, we had two 50oz sumos, one 32oz and one 16oz and all were cooked to perfection. I can't recommend this place enough, it's a little gem with ample private seating and the friendliest staff. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed after visiting the cricketers arms. Externally the place looks like a typical West Bromwich pub, but don't be fooled the food and service they provide is absolutely second to none and we shall be returning for more great food.”

“Came here a few days after my birthday to say thank you to the owner and we had some food. We were not disappointed. The seabass (pic) was a "perfect balance of spices" according to my stepdad. I tried the chilli fish and sheesh kebab starters and mom had the Chinese vegetable Noodles. All the food tasted amazing the chef and his crew are very welcoming. We will be attending again with more family members for more!!”

“I had a roast dinner, partner had scampi. We both had an abundance of food which was piping hot. Meat, roast and mash potatoes, 3 different veg, stuffing and a Yorkie. Add a couple of drinks total less than £20. Staff very friendly will definitely be returning.”

“Came here for a drink and to take in the view, following a recommendation from a friend. We got straight in with no waiting, it was very quiet in the bar, but the restaurant was getting quite busy, with people coming in for afternoon tea. Picked a cocktail, they were priced between £13-£14.50 each, which didn't think was too bad, for this type of restaurant, so was pleasantly surprised, when the lady behind the bar said that the cocktails were £14.50 each or 2 of the same cocktails for £14. So instead of 2 cocktails for £29, we got 4 cocktails for £28. The views from the 25th floor over Birmingham are lovely and looked even better in the sunshine. Well worth a visit, even, if just for a drink.”

“I live literally 2 roads next to it and didn't know it's there lol. Went today for the first time, family meal and my only regret is that I didn't go there earlier. It was a very nice experience. Food was delicious and fresh, mixed grill with masala chips is fantastic. Service, atmosphere is friendly , almost like home. Prices are also reasonable for everything in menu. I'm going back there soon again, with more friends lol”

“I had a great evening here yesterday with friends there's always a warm welcome from the staff and a good, reasonably priced beer from the well stocked bar. Zain, who runs the kitchen, goes out of his way to match your food order to individual tastes, I had a lamb balti which was the best I've had in a long time, the lamb was melt in the mouth, lovely sauce, was beautifully spiced and a generous portion, rice and naan were great too. All my friends were very satisfied with their food too, you'd have to go a long way to get food of this quality at these prices so I would certainly recommend a visit.”

“Fantastic Addition to the locals in the Are. used to be a dead quiet middle-eastern restaurant. now, new owners have transformed this into a vibrant and welcoming place. food is fresh and full of flavours. I tried the Nepalese dumplings (Chicken steamed Momos) and Wild Tandoori king Prawns. plenty options at Bar too!”

“Visited on the lunchtime. A good menu including a number of vegetarian dishes. The meal was excellent full of flavour and well presented. Will definitely return maybe for an evening meal.”

“Best pizza in town. Value for money and great taste. Try the kebab in naan as well. Massive portion and great taste. My favourite place now. They need to reduce cheese content on pizza and increase tomato sauce, just a suggestion. All in all, will not go elsewhere for pizza or kebab now.”

“This used to be the chalice, now changed to the Moss Sports Bar. Nice place with sport memorabilia on the walls, TV,s on the wall all showing different things. Man and lady who were serving were excellent. Had a nice chat with them. Well worth a visit.”

“Tasty food, we had the large mixed grill on a collection. The food was fresh, slightly smaller portion that at the Soho Cottage but equally as tasty. Great sheikh kebab. Would like to see it come with a naan if i had to be picky but other than that top notch and worth a try! Havent commented on atmosphere as we didnt dine in.”

“I fancied a takeaway Indian and as I haven't been to M S Bar and Grill for around four or five years I thought I'd give it a go. The mixed grill and curry were both lovely, authentic and reasonably priced. Not many places where you can get a pint under £4, too. Overall, it is a good place to try if you want value for money. It is difficult to understand why it was so quiet this evening even with the football on, but it might have been a one off. I'll definitely return.”

“Picked up some food from here today and I've literally never had such a pleasant experience. The staff were lovely and the place itself was spotlessly clean. The food was brilliant and so full of flavour, compared to the standard mixed grill pubs this was definitely top quality food. I highly recommend the butter chicken and the chilli naan to go with it. Will definitely visit again soon!”

“I just happened to visit this bar, a few months ago, while visiting Currys next door and wow, I was so blown away! The food was so delicious and the service was also great! Since then, I have visited a couple more times and yesterday, being my birthday, I also chose here for my birthday meal (and I can be picky at times)! I am never disappointed with the quality of the food and the service and pleasant atmosphere makes you want to visit again and again.”

“Great food, great beer, great service. The perfect local. It's rare to find a place this consistent. I've been staying nearby for work and am slowly working my way through the menu. The place is unassuming from the outside and is cozy on the inside with a subtle Indian vibe. Birmingham is full of amazing food when you want to adventure out; this is the perfect spot to relax, eat well, and feel at home.”

“Excellent Sunday lunch in a beautiful old pub. Dining room is found at the back. We had the pork belly and beef both were beautifully cooked and melt in the mouth. All roasts include Cauliflower cheese and veg. Our selection included kale, rainbow chard, leeks and beans this was in addition to the parsnip, carrot and potato on the main plate. The apple and berry crumble was full of flavour and the creme anglaise provided a perfect addition. Very reasonably priced given the quality of the food and the excellent service.”

“Hands down one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. Words can't do it justice, but I'll try anyway. The food quality was phenomenal, as were the portion sizes and surprisingly cheap cost! Atmosphere was great too with awesome style / design throughout the restaurant. My only minor criticism is the car park is a bit tight to navigate. A decent amount of car parking spaces though. Overall, top marks without a doubt. Thank you!”
