The park is a popular tourist attraction with its ancient Oak trees providing shade and a variety of amenities for visitors to enjoy. The park features two covered pavilions with tables, barbeque grills, and picnic benches, making it a perfect spot for family gatherings and social events. Additionally, visitors can take advantage of the park's baseball diamond, covered bocce ball court, basketball court, horseshoe pits, volleyball nets, and tennis courts. Children can have fun on the playground, while visitors of all ages can stroll along the Father Joe Walking Trail, lined with tree-shaded park benches. The trail is now lit for evening walks. The park is open daily from sun up to sundown, and all facilities are free for public use. Reservations are recommended for the pavilions and gazebo, with a fee of $10 per hour for a minimum of 2 hours. The reservation fees go towards the care and upkeep of the park. For reservations, visitors can contact the Administrative Assistant at (479) 361-2700. The park is a popular destination during the warm months, so early reservations are recommended.
