"I hate going into this library. The women on the desk are fine, but there is a young man w/ a beard who is rude, and he and the guard both profile me when I come in. Maybe because I carry a sidebag (I ride an eBike and there is no trunk to lock things up on)? The book selection is very limited, and the movie selection is terrible. It looks nice inside but fails as a nice place to visit. They should take a look at the signs most business had when I visited Memphis....Be Nice, Or Leave. That's exactly right. This is the the South. Courtesy, manners, friendliness and Southern hospitality are what we're about. Those that act otherwise would be much happier up North w/ people like themselves, and we would be happier if they left."

"It's great if you want to use their Internet services for looking up information or homework, & checking out books, but that's all it's good for. A lot of books that you want they most likely won't have it stock so you would have to request a certain book. Most of the time it's not quiet at all like a normal library should be. It is a neighborhood library so there are a lot of neighborhood kids who come in & run around when you're trying to study. Staff does nothing about it. Teenagers come in & are loud & obnoxious. Staff does nothing about it again. There are some adults who come in & are just as loud as the children, no one seems to understand that this is a library & it's supposed to be quiet. I wouldn't say all, but there a few staff members who are not friendly, it's like they don't want to be there, & when you ask a question, they can be rude about the way they answer it. Last thing is the movies, they are scratched up, they have fingerprints all over them that you can't even play them. You'd be lucky if you get a new movie before anyone else gets a hold of it. If it's a few weeks old, 9 times outta 10 it's already damaged. They put little comment cards inside the DVD case to write what problem you had with it, & once you write your problem, return the movie all they do is look to see if you wrote anything, take that card out. put a new in & put it right back on the shelf. Frankly, you'd be better off going to Wal Mart to get a couple of movies out the $5 bin. It's not really a library, just a hang out spot."
