The Thomas
The Thomas is a unique neighborhood lifestyle center located at 447 Old Litchfield Road in Litchfield Park, Arizona. This institution is set in a redeveloped 1970's historic church site, featuring three existing buildings that will be transformed through an "adaptive reuse" project. The plans for The Thomas include a continued worship site, community theater, cultural center in the main auditorium building, as well as office, retail, and restaurant uses in the adjacent buildings. Originally built in 1976 for the St. Thomas Aquinas parish, The Thomas holds historical significance in the community. The church was dedicated on February 23, 1986, with Bishop Thomas O’Brien and Fr. Tom Hever officiating. The institution is located right off Indian School Rd, in the charming Old Litchfield Park district, just across from a neighborhood lake and near the new Litchfield Square development.
