“If I could give more stars, I would! Jumpstart, which is now sweet pea is an amazing and safe place to take your child. My daughter went here from age 3 until she started kindergarten, and the entire time staff communicated and was always very helpful. Ms. D, who you typically see in the front is very warm, welcoming, and always on her game! Give them a chance, you won’t regret it. I will forever be grateful for jumpstart/sweet peas❤️❤️❤️”

“I have a child that goes here and I have nothing but good things to say. In fact I could boast all day. From the amazing lunch menu to the curriculum. However what it really comes down to in a daycare is people who care about your kids as much as you do and the Staff here really takes your kids seriously. Through out this crazy Covid Wirtzies had made me feel comfortable that my child is safe in their care. I have never seen a child cry being dropped off, I have only seen them excited an happy to be there.”

“My son has attended this school for almost two years, and we are beyond pleased with the staff, curriculum and organization. They always have fun activities going on, such as picnics at the park so other siblings and family member can be involved, muffins with mom for mother’s day, donuts with dad for Father’s Day and so many more. My son absolutely loves his teachers and even gives me a hard time sometimes about leaving when I pick him up! I highly recommend this school for parents who want their children in good, loving hands while they are at work. 10 stars if I could give it!!”

“This is our first academic experience for our son. Ms. Sue, Ms. Paula, Ms. Christie and the rest of the staff have been so kind and gracious. Absolutely love the small school setting and the core Christian values implemented into the curriculum. Our son is so happy here! He gets so excited for school in the mornings and loves his teacher. “My son loves the flexibility that comes with online schooling. He is able to advance at his pace and focus on subjects that he loves. The only issue with online schooling: missing on the social skills. We tried various co-ops and alternative holistic schools but none were able to provide the guidance and coaching that are needed for an independent, self motivated learner. Then in January 2023 we stumbled upon KaiPod, an in-person pod for online, homeschooling and alternative schooling children. My son and we fell in love with the environment of the pod right from the moment we did our trial day at the Gilbert Center. The pod caters to students from 3 grade to 12 grade. Even with such a huge difference in age groups, all the students are happy and supportive. The older students take extra efforts in guiding the younger students with their course work if needed. All students have mutual respect and admiration for the pod members, its like one big family. Mrs. Fox is an amazing coach, thanks to her, my son has developed his soft skills and became very good in playing board games. With this new found super power he is able to make friends easily at any event. My 6th grader son loves his conversations on geography, world politics and Mathematics with high school students, an aspect he was missing in a traditional learning model. We are truly grateful that we found this unique model of learning for our family. Thanks to founder Amar Kumar and the hard working team for KaiPod.”

“This daycare facility is absolutely amazing. I transferred my daughter here after having a horrible experience with another daycare facility, where I was not given incident reports on multiple occasions after my daughter had been injured in their care, she came home with horrible diaper rashes at least weekly, and the staff was constantly quitting and classrooms were well over ratio regularly. Phoenix Children's Academy was recommended by a family friend, and the difference was evident when I first toured the facility. The teachers are engaged and actually care for and pay attention to the children in their classes. The majority of the staff is always in a good mood, very happy and welcoming, and actually seem to enjoy their job. The director and assistant directors make it a point to communicate with the families regularly, sharing monthly calendars and looking for feedback often. I cannot thank them enough for giving me peace of mind, knowing that my daughter is in great hands.”

“When my son was entering Kinder I had concerns about our local school district so I opted to explore charters. I found Calibre, enrolled and he’s now entering 8th grade with siblings entering 5th and 1st. Despite the challenges that Arizona faced as a whole and the pandemic I have found Calibre to be a welcoming school where the staff take an active interest in my children’s academic progress and overall well being. When my children enter school I do not feel as though I have sent them off to be looked after by strangers, I feel a sense of safety knowing that I send them somewhere teachers and staff look after them and educate them as if they were their own children. It gives me great peace of mind. My youngest child has a host of medical issues and honestly Calibre staff have made me feel so much more at ease with the decision to send her in person. I know she will be well cared for and get a top notch public education at the same time. My middle child struggled with reading and the RTI staff did a wonderful job of not only aiding him in his reading progress but also making a personal connection so that he feels comfortable with them and for a kid who can be a bit awkward, that’s been a beautiful thing to see. The middle school teachers do a wonderful job of encouraging the students at that level while also not coddling them so they learn to be accountable which helps prepare them for high-school. I’m happy that we chose Calibre and would highly recommend them.”

“This school is AMAZING! Unfortunately, I believe that 2 of the reviews here may have gotten schools mixed up as they are right next to each other. Having experienced the situation from the other school for myself, I can say this school is NOT the "unnamed " school. Everyone here is, including the substitutes (of whom I've had the pleasure to meet) are wonderful. They teach with purpose, care, integrity, and wisdom. Your little chicks in turn come home with a happy and healthy attitude towards you and other adults.”

“This is a new school to the Dysart district. First year is 2019-2020 school year. All previous reviews are from old school which has been shut down. This school is not a boundary school so you need to apply to have your child attend. Children will be wearing uniforms as well. I am very much looking forward to this upcoming school year! Freedom Firebirds!!!”
