"Terrible company if you have a total loss and you're upside down with them even though most of my loan is paid the want to charge high interest car note and incurr interest.. I asked can they lower my payment as I have nothing no car no way to get to work and Exeter is like oh well sorry..they certainly don't care they have no mercy for the clients and super rude customer service people almost every time I call.. Bad bad corporation beware!!! Predatory company for sure. No mercy or grace!!just cold hateful and greedy"

"Well, I was charged by this company the other day. They took $6000 out of my account. I have never heard of Exeter at all and never gave them authorization to take my funds. I called them and asked them to check their system and see why I'm being charged. They said I must have an account with them for them to check. However, I never had an account with them so I asked them to simply check their database and search for my bank account number since they obviously have that information since they were able to take the money from my account. They replied that I should simply contact my bank and dispute the charge. This seemed ridiculous to me since I wanted to make sure this doesn't happen again and wanted to know why they took the money to begin with. I again asked them to check their database and search by my bank account number and again they refused saying they cannot give me any information whatsoever and that I should contact my bank. I don't know much about this business but if they are unable to check their own database and determine why they charged me, I definitely wouldnt trust them to handle any of my business, loans or finances at all."

"I'm not sure what agent assisted w/me. I'm not pleased w/the recent phone call I made .. The agent was rude when all I was asking if we had to pay the original amount in regards to paying extra every month. I tried to explain the situation and I received a rude response and once I addressed on what I was going to do w/my next steps in regards to the payment. She hung up right away. Please coach your agents .. I work w/customer care and that call should have not been handled the way it should have."
