"I very, very rarely post a negative review, but PLEASE be warned that this company is a COMPLETE scam. I thought I was choosing an honest company after reading some to the recent reviews, but apparently got taken. Scroll back further her and on Google to see more "scam" reviews. I was given the runaround multiple times, waited through the "4-hour window" for no one to show up, only to be told that the dispatcher never relayed that appointment to anyone? Finally, someone came for about 10 minutes and said it was a bad compressor, but I was in luck! It's still on warranty through LG! After me sitting on the phone for over an hour with LG to get the part ordered and sent to this company...I tried to call Urban Appliance Repair back multiple times, occasionally they would answer, but then no voicemail, no answer for days while I was waiting to hear if they were coming back, and if my new compressor had arrived yet from LG (which was stil on warranty...but when they finally arrived to install the new one, I was still charged around $700 to install the "free" warrantied compressor)...almost 2 weeks later, they finally showed up after 5 1/2 hours into the "4-hour window" after I had to throw out all my food...I inquired why no one was answering their business phone, and the technician stammered and stuttered to come up with an answer and couldn't look at me...and said he wasn't sure what was going on...couldn't come up with an answer...within a couple days after the new compressor install, the refrigerator started making a horrible, loud noise...I tried to call again, no answer, no voicemail, no other way to contact. I finally texted the technician personally and begged him to come out and just make the noise stop, and he finally agreed to come...the way he'd installed it, it was vibrating against the metal backing of the fridge...........days later, and the compressor would randomly quit working, defrost everything, then work again...on and on. Called the company, finally got through, their answer was that I must've been sent a bad compressor from LG and they'd "try to help me" with getting a new one expedited ...then no return call...no answer, no voicemail...I tested Ilya the technician again and told him I didn't want to leave bad reviews, but this was beyond horrible service and I couldn't reach anyone...didn't hear back from the company at all. No response. Total, complete scam. PLEASE do not get taken by this company. I had even called LG and ordered another compressor myself and never heard back from this company if it was ever received. Wondering if they just kept the new compressor and profited from it? I'm in tears tonight trying to come up with the money for a new refrigerator that I can't afford. Horrible service, zero responsibility, and extremely unprofessional. Filing a report with Better Business Bureau after this. Friends and family of businesses and people that are paid can always leave good review that are false. Don't always trust what you read, unfortunately. This was horribly stressful and expensive, and during the holiday season, all for nothing."
