Tenders! is a popular food institution located at 101 Intercom Drive in Madison, Alabama, United States. Founded by Mike Tepool and John McBride, both graduates of Auburn University, Tenders! first opened its doors in May of 1996 in the Five Points area of Huntsville, AL. Specializing in delicious chicken fingers and their famous sauce, Tenders! has since expanded to four locations throughout Huntsville. The idea for Tenders! came about when Tepool and McBride sought to recreate the chicken tenders and sauce they loved while attending Auburn. After perfecting their recipe, Tenders! became known for their freshly battered chicken tenders and house-made sauce.
