"The food was tasty. Service wasn't great but fair if wasnt so busy may have been better. It was extremely busy and loud. That's good for them but not appetizing for me. Seating was horrible. I could barely get up. Just so hard and killed my back and bottom. I don't mind trying again but will not sit in booth and have to see when not so busy. They may need to increase location size."
"In my humble opinion El Portal is better. Atmosphere was nice, food was mid quality at best. I had the Lunch Special #1. My go to at any Mexican place. The chile relleno was soggy and I was not impressed. The meat in the taco wasn’t seasoned well. The only thing worth coming back for would be the salsa. The server could tell my wife’s frozen margarita was not frozen at all and just syrup. She then offered to replace it for free. Our food came out before our appetizer and I had to ask about it. I think she had forgotten. Overall not a great experience. I will be sticking to my old faithful across the street."
"A little on the pricey side. But everything in this day and age is more expensive, so........ OUTSTANDING food! You can really taste the authenticity in the cuisine. Phenomenal service! Our waitress was very attentive and addressed our every need enthusiastically and attentively! This is the third time we have eaten here and it was the first time the owner/manager did not come out and check on us. Usually he does. Highly recommended!!!"
"This resturant is new to the area, my family and I have been waiting to go for awhile. We loved the decor, it was very clean and everyone very friendly. We waited awhile for the food, we ordered a kids plate enchilada and veggie fajitas im not sure the beans were vegan or vegetarian friendly but the beans were probably our favorite of all. The veggie fajitas looked so good when they came out but had no flavor or seasonings on it at all, the salsa was kind of bland too. Pricing seemed to be a little high as well."
"Awesome place, delicious authentic food with great portion sizes, margaritas are a little on the high side price wise but mannnnn they are awesome! The staff is amazing and friendly! The only thing I could recommend is to get some things that hold babies in car seats so people in groups with a baby can sit them down without having to take a chair or place in a booth or sitting them up on the table itself. 5/5"
