The Best Kemp's ridley sea turtle in Gulf Shores, Alabama

The Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center, located at 12295 Alabama 180 in Gulf Shores, Alabama, is a park that encompasses approximately 7,000 acres of diverse coastal lands. From beach dunes to pine-oak woodlands, the refuge offers a variety of habitats for visitors to explore and enjoy. Established by Congress in 1980, the refuge is dedicated to protecting neotropical migratory songbird habitat and endangered species such as the green, loggerhead, and Kemp's ridley sea turtles, as well as the Alabama beach mouse.
