“I rated the food low because they don’t have any gluten-free or dairy-free food options, which means I can’t eat there. But I’ve been a fan of their wide variety of teas and lattes for years. This location has a cozy yet airy vibe, a comfortable back porch area, and is easy to walk to from the courthouse, park, and my workplace. I appreciate the staff always being willing to lend a hand with their card reader and touch-screen, which are inaccessible to blind customers like myself. Until the credit card processing industry changes its accessibility standards, it’s up to baristas and cashiers to make up the difference, and the people at Piper & Leaf do a fine job of making me feel welcome rather than like a burden when I need assistance.”

“Only had one of their iced coffees but it was amazing. This is a drive-through only coffee shop as far as I could tell. They were quick, efficient, super friendly and the experience was just overall 10/10. If I’m ever back in the Huntsville area I will definitely check this coffee place out again”

“Good prices, healthy choice for lunch. (Make sure you say L&T on your sandwich, thought it would come as listed on the menu, but oh well! ) There's a lot of options for such a small shop, even coconut water which is perfect for summer! All the food was great, didn't get to try the coffee or tea this go but will next time. (Was just under $13 before tip for all pictured.) Decent amount of parking for area, there are a few spots off the road.”

“Overall, it was Starbucks; we all know what they have to offer. However, the positive things that I noticed on this visit to the Winchester Rd. location was that as employees were changing shifts, employees still working were very genuinely hollering to tell the exiting employees bye. You could tell they have a great working relationship and culture. Also, one of the bathrooms was out of order. I didn't ask questions, but as I sat working on my laptop drinking my coffee, I noticed a maintenance man come in carrying some tools and a mop/mop bucket heading to the out of order restroom. Immediately, one of the lead staff members thanked him publicly across the store and offered for him to come over once finished to get any coffee or food item on her just for taking care of them. That appreciation was good to see. Seems like a great crew there currently, and as you likely know, good employees and a positive culture mean everything as it directly impacts the customer experience. Great Job team!”

“First time at a Starbucks and the cashier Tianna was super patient and sweet. She made me feel welcomed and it was a good feeling to see her taking her health seriously. (She wore a hair net, and a mask) I’m so happy she was welcoming and caring. Keep her around. Edit: Went back today, and Shiniah was absolutely amazing. Who ever is hiring your morning staff is doing a great job. My experience with this location has been great. The drinks I order were nice too, but I highly value human interaction.”
