Toomer's Oaks
β OpenToomer's Oaks, located at 112 South College Street in Auburn, Alabama, is a historic tourist attraction associated with Auburn University. The institution is known for its iconic oak trees at Toomer's Corner, where fans traditionally gather to celebrate victories by rolling the trees with toilet paper. Recently, Auburn University made the decision to replace the current Auburn Oaks at Toomer's Corner due to severe damage caused by a fire. The damaged trees will be replaced with two new live oaks that match each other in size and appearance. This decision was made after efforts to save the original Auburn Oaks, which were poisoned in 2011, proved unsuccessful.
