"Today I walked in store in Fayette to return some shoes i had bought from the hibbetts store in Tuscaloosa, when I walked to rhe counter, the employee Shaunda opened the shoe box without even observing the shoes and told me the shoes was dirty, when clearly nothing was wrong with the shoes, she really didn't observe the shoes to even make a decision to even say the shoes was dirty, and she clearly had an attitude, however the attitude came in because of a prior incident I had with the manager there named Michelle, therefore Michelle told all the employees there not to accept anymore returns from me, when that's a clear case of discrimination because if nothing g is wrong with the shoes, but I tried them on, they were supposed to return the shoes but by the employees attitude, she didn't even want to hear what I had to say and told me to have a nice day..I told the employee Shaunda that what she's doing is discrimination and that I'm calling corperate and have something done about this situation, in which her sarcastic told me , good luck with that, so after I left the store with the shoes ,I immediately drove to the hibbetts in winfield alabama, walked to the counter to return the shoes, the guy opened the box, observed the shoes, and with no questions asked, gave me a refund on the spot..There was nothing wrong with those shoes, the employee in the hibbetts in Fayette was just discriminating and didn't want to return my shoes due to what her the manager Michelle had told her because when I was trying to explain to her about the shoes, she didn't want to hear anything and told me I had to come back Monday to speak with Michelle because she told her not to return any shoes from me..So as soon as i left the store, I contacted hibbetts corperate and let them know of the incident, also stating prior incidents in the past to what brought on this incident today..I told them i want immediate action and someone is going to have to tell me something because me and my fiance are loyal customers and have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with hibbetts, also the people I deal with spend at hibbetts as well and I told them if nothing is done about this, I will be going to talk to an attorney and seek discrimination charges against hibbetts because that's exactly what the employee done..They can roll the cameras back, we can do whatever, i was embarrassed and I've never had an in store experience like I've had today and something has to be done because if not, we will take this to court because I spend too much money in the store for this to happen...This store is not even accredited by the better business bureau, so I understand why so much trash works there and fulfills the management positions..The store never has anything that customers really want due to a lack of management that doesnt know quality goods..That's why customers go to other surroundings hibbetts or other stores to purchase shoes or other things because management only knows what's 8n her agenda, which is not quality goods..How are you going to attract customers when there's never nothing good in the stores especially for African American people, that stuff is only made for simple people and management is satisfied with what they have in store because as long as management gets paid all the other employees get paid $8 something an hour..If anybody is satisfied with that then I see why they work in this store, and they never get nowhere in life, but the management in this store needs to be clean out and re done because it's the same way everytime, and if that is the way management trains people to act as employees, he or she needs to be FIRED!!"
