As a cornerstone of our community, we strive to serve the residents of Napier Field with dedication and transparency. Our town has a rich history, having been established as an Army Air Forces Training Center at the onset of World War II. This historic site trained American, British, Mexican, and even women pilots for crucial flying missions in Europe. Though the base officially closed in 1944, its legacy remains, and in the 1950s, the property was opened to the public.
