The Fort Payne Opera House, located at 510 Gault Avenue North in Fort Payne, Alabama, is a historic institution that dates back to 1889. It is the only opera house in the state of Alabama that is still in use today. Originally built during Fort Payne's industrial boom, the Opera House has served as a movie theater, live theater, and public forum over the years.
