Welcome to Sardis Missionary Baptist Church, a cherished place of worship located at 115 County Road 238, Headland, Alabama. As a vibrant and welcoming community of faith, we are dedicated to spreading the Gospel and serving our congregation under the inspiring leadership of Pastor Carlos Hill, Sr. Pastor Hill, a native of Graceville, Florida, brings a deep devotion to both his family and his spiritual calling. With his wife Arnetra and their beautiful children—Jayla, Maliah, and Carlos II—Pastor Hill is committed to guiding our church family with love and dedication. Our rich history dates back to 1929 when Sardis Missionary Baptist Church was founded by the late Rev. Edmund Alford in the historic old Bradshaw School. Over the decades, our church has stood as a beacon of hope and faith, overcoming challenges and evolving into the thriving community it is today. Despite trials, including a devastating fire, our congregation's unwavering faith led to the construction of a new, stronger place of worship, completed and dedicated on June 24, 2012.
