Gentilly Park II
Welcome to Gentilly Park II, your home away from home in Auburn, Alabama. Nestled at 1960 County Road 137, Auburn, AL 36832, Gentilly Park II has been a beloved lodging and RV park for the Auburn Student Community since 1970. Our rich history began when Floyd and Eva Mae Starr, along with their sons Cecil and Terry, welcomed an Auburn student to park his trailer on their property. This simple act of hospitality marked the birth of Starr’s Mobile Home Park. Cecil Starr, together with his wife Martha Jean, brought their expertise in construction and site preparation to develop Gentilly Park on a sprawling 52-acre site on Webster Road. Their dedication and hard work transformed the park into a popular destination, especially among Veterinary students, reaching full capacity by 1972.
