Tiger On The Green

"Was not impressed on our first (and probably last) visit. Our food took nearly an hour to come out, and we needed to ask several times for our silverware. I ordered another drink while waiting for the food and it just never arrived. My kids seemed happy with their food but my catfish plate was pretty disappointing. Blackened catfish with almost no flavor, the “roasted” Brussels sprouts had clearly been microwaved or boiled, and I never got the hush puppies the menu promised. It was cheap, at least, and the atmosphere is pleasant. It has potential, but I don’t think we’ll be back to see if it improves."

"Have enjoyed both dinner and brunch several times. The food is delicious and service excellent. Brooklyn did a great job with our group of 12! Friendly and helpful with details of menu. Lovely open dining room where you can easily hear the conversation at your table. Looking forward to next visit."

"Walked in the door to a very friendly staff and an open, light, and inviting dining room. Our waitress was named Wessie and was instantly at our table asking about drinks. She displayed a deep knowledge of the menu and was quick to offer suggestions since this was our first visit. I landed on the breakfast burger with cheese grits which were both top notch! The egg and burger were cooked exactly as I wanted and the brownie and ice cream put the exclamation point on a delicious brunch! The outstanding service and great food make this a definite stop on any trip to Auburn!"

"There is an important discovery I made during my first visit to Tiger on The Green. Even tho the website says “Lunch is served 7 days a week 10am-5pm,” we found this was not the case on Saturday. We arrived just after noon and were handed the brunch menu. OK, we adapted. Some minor kinks may need working out at some point. We asked to sit outside and had begun being led to our table, but then asked to wait while our table was cleaned. We were brought our meal but had no silverware. However, I must say the food was delish. I ordered the avocado toast with sun dried tomatoes. It comes with a cooked to order egg on top. I was also surprised to find it also came with an order of cheese grits. I was happy this meal was turning around for the better. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at Tiger on the Green. They have a clean and spacious dining room with an outdoor seating option. There is lawn golf to play for about $10 per 9 holes. That is not the exact cost."

"We went last weekend for brunch. This is the first time we have tried Tiger on the Green. It was delicious. Sam was our server and he was great. I had their breakfast pancake tacos, the sausage was so good. My husband had the Steak and Eggs. He said the steak was great. Just an FYI: they do have mimosas, it doesn't say on their menu but we shared a pitcher of mimosas and they were great. We look forward to trying lunch and dinner at some point and will definitely be back for brunch."
