"Allison & Rose recently handled my brother's funeral. I'd say "arrangements" but that would be grossly overstating since they didn't "arrange" very well. They lost his records stating his own personal requests - including the casket he personally chose. One had to be picked out since they could not find his original request. The obituary looks like it was written by a 5-year old...to quote: "Past to his hevenly home". They posted the wrong date of the services. There were numerous spelling mistakes and they even got my mother's maiden wrong! They redid the obit and actually made it worse. No spray of flowers on the casket. This was all very disappointing. Their services were supposed to make things easier for his family, but they messed it up so bad that it made things much worse. Kudos to my family for rising above A&R's inept "arrangements.""

"Allison and Rose handled the funerals of both my parents, my mom in 2009 and Dad in 2020. Our family was blessed both times by the professionalism, knowledge and experience of the staff, their thoughtfulness, willingness to be helpful, and the freedom we had both times to celebrate our loved ones in the way that most comforted and honored their memory. It meant so much that in times of challenge that we had them to guide us and handle the details with care. Our experience was positive due to the compassion and understanding the staff demonstrated throughout the time spent there."

"This funeral home is the MOST unprofessional, inconsiderate and disorganized place I have EVER seen. They are extremely rude and use the harshest words during a time of complete grief! I have never been so angered towards a place of “business”! Everything from a HORRIBLY misspelled and written obituary, to the way my friend (a grieving mother that lost her 10 year old son in a horrific accident) was treated!! This family was left ALL alone to “handle” the services! The director used words like “gory details” (referring to the paperwork) this precious mother had to sign. And saying “did the best we could, but he kept bleeding out” when referring to how horrible his makeup and body were presented to her!! He was the ONLY person “working” and they had 500+ people there showing love, respect and support!! They didn’t even “test” the DVD player for the pictures and, of course, it wouldn’t play! Instead, the family was told to put the DVD’s in themselves! And when we brought it to his attention that it wasn’t working, the funeral director said “well doesn’t someone have a laptop”?!!! Are you kidding me??!!!!! This family is BEYOND grief stricken and instead of offering ANY type of help, we are asked if anyone has a laptop??!!! I was furious and brought ALL of this to his attention and was told “well I didn’t mean to be rude” WHILE scouring at me when saying it! And might I add, NOTHING was different. He changed nothing! Not his tone (EVEN toward the mother of her sweet angel)!!! PLEASE I urge you to NOT use this funeral home in your time of need."

"My best friend of 15 years lost her 10 year old son in a horrific car accident last Wednesday in brown county. It was such a tragic and unexpected loss of such a beautiful soul. I need to make sure anyone who ever tries to use the funeral home she used is made aware of how terribly she was treated and the horrible things that were said and done from the beginning until the end. This is an 30 year old woman who had just lost her 10 year old son, clearly she has probably never dealt with anything like this before. First, when she went in, he made her feel very stupid for not knowing what embalming was, he wouldn’t take the time to sit and explain anything to her and then at the end asked her to sign the “gory” details of the contract. Who says that to a mother that just lost her child? The completely botched his obituary. Spelled his name Camerson (his name is Cameron), said he was a 10 year old 10th grader at Kilgour Elemntary and that he loved playing socker (soccer) and enjoyed his clases (classes) at school. It looked like it was written by a 6 year old and it took Ashlee’s good friend going to the funeral home as soon as they opened the next day to get it corrected. Originally when she went in and was asked about floral arraignments she told the director she would take care of them herself, thinking her aunt could make them, not realizing how time consuming that would be. Her aunt called up to the funeral home and said they would like to go ahead and move forward with the funeral home doing the arraignments he said “well, you’re going to have to call a florist, we can’t take care of that for you”. She okay, I am from California, are there any good florists that you could recommend? His response... “just google it, there are plenty of good ones” and hung up the phone. When we went there on Sunday for the service, there was no staff there, except the funeral director and one man with an oxygen tank attempting to hold the door open for people. The DVD player they provided did not work for the slide show made for Cameron and the director said “well doesn’t anyone here have a laptop with them”. Nobody just carries around their laptop when they are told it isn’t needed and everything would be provided by the funeral home, all they needed was the disc. When the technology wasn’t working, no one came over and attempted to help, and someone from the family had to leave the funeral home to go buy an hdmi cord and another person had to leave to go home and get their laptop. Not once did anyone from the funeral home offer to help in any way, shape or form. Next, for the readings, chairs needed moved. Not one person from this funeral home helped moved one chair. The family did it for all of the guests. I have never seen such blatant disrespect to a mourning family in my life. I want to make sure no one ever lets Alice and Rose in Covington, KY handle the service of their loved one. They do not deserve the respect of taking care of such an amazing family at such a difficult time."
